Jeff mentioned me in his letters to Hurry and thus wrote to me in a way but has never wrote me direct. Do you know Hurry and I got a letter from Curtis about 3 or 4 month ago and have never written him yet. Now what do you think of that for a decent way to treat an old chum. Stocks have been steadily dropping for the last few days. I don't know what to write about them. Sometimes a few brokers get together and manipulate some certain stock and you can never tell what they are going to do. I get a little sick of the stock biz at times. I have sent you two bunches of papers lately. Didnt you get them. Talk about drinking old water. I bought a can of water last Sunday and I will get a can tomorrow. I keep it in an oil can that holds 5 gal. We just cur the top out and put a stick in for a handle. I never think of it being old. I have had plenty of snow water to wash dishes, etc. but I will have to buy a can every other day now I expect because the snow is about all gone. The Union seems to me is gaining a little ground here. I would not be surprised to see the strike
