Abstract
The Cindy Coletti Papers are comprised primarily of magazine and newspaper articles, and promotional brochures from approximately 1978 to 2017 about custom home designer Cindy Coletti and her company, Sun West Custom Homes, that was established in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1989. The collection also includes commendations for Coletti from the governor of Nevada and the Nevada congressional delegation for her accompishments as a small business owner. Also included are some promotional brochures and a digitized scrapbook portfolio of custom homes designed by Coletti's previous design company, El Rancho West.

Biographical / Historical Note
Cindy Coletti, founder of Sun West Custom Homes, began her career designing custom homes in Florida and Colorado before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1989. Coletti founded El Rancho West Homes in Florida in 1976 before moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado in the early 1980s.
Her son, Dan Coletti, the principal designer, took over operations of Sun West Custom Homes in 2001 after her retirement. Over the years Coletti and Sun West Custom Homes have won a number of achievement awards and have been highlighted in construction and architecture magazines. Sun West Custom Homes has been responsible for building custom estate homes in the Las Vegas Valley including The Ridges in Summerlin, Macdonald Highlands, Seven Hills, and Anthem Country Club.

Processing Note
The collection was minimally processed by Maggie Bukowski and Tammi Kim in 2017 at the time of accessioning. The materials were quickly reviewed to provide a general description of the contents of each box and an estimate of dates represented in the material. Loose papers were foldered. No further work was performed on the materials.
