At this time, the files are available for research use but UNLV Special Collections and Archives do not have the technical capability to provide onsite access. The programs used to access the databases represented in these digital files were created as 16-bit applications which are no longer supported on versions of Windows after Windows 10. 16-bit applications may be run on 32-bit Windows 10 but will require the system component of NT Virtual DOS Machine (NTVDM), which as of 2025 is a deprecated program that is no longer supported by Microsoft. Please contact Special Collections and Archives for additional information.
Additional Description
General
The digital files represent components used to run an executable program, Residential Pro, from a CD-ROM that provided access to residential sales and pricing data for Nevada (Las Vegas and Reno) and Arizona (Tucson). Residential Pro also included information on real estate projects and plans including GIS data, floorplans, and images of residential homes.
