Custodial History

Materials in this series that date after 1995 have an uncertain origin. This collection was purchased from Royer in 1995 and maintained by the International Game Technology (IGT) Gaming Resource Center, a division of the UNLV International Gaming Institute (IGI), before it was transferred to UNLV Special Collections.  Materials dating after 1995 could have been donated by Royer himself, but it is also possible that the IGT Gaming Resource Center staff continued to build on Royer’s collection, intermixing additional materials into the original collection.
