Also contained in the collection are event posters, national design competition materials, and AIGA annual design books and journals. The majority of the collection focuses on AIGA Las Vegas events.

The majority of the collection consists of annual design competition materials (referred to as "Peep Shows" until 2003 when it changed to "Work Shows"), which include invitations, marketing material, and program books. Also contained in the collection are event posters, national design competition materials, AIGA annual design books and journals, and a proclamation from Mayor Carolyn Goodman declaring May 20, 2022 "AIGA Las Vegas Day." The majority of the collection focuses on AIGA Las Vegas events.
American Institute for Graphic Arts (AIGA) Las Vegas was started in 1996 and officially founded in 1997. The chapter supports designers and creative entities in Las Vegas region by organizing events such as lectures, competitions, and social events. AIGA Las Vegas provides education, support, and networking assistance to both professionals and students. The main AGIA was founded in 1914, and remains the oldest and largest professional membership organization for design. It is now known as "AGIA, the professional association for design."

In 2022, Sarah Jones sorted the materials, weeded out duplicates, foldered materials, and created the finding aid in ArchivesSpace.
Acquired by Visual Materials Curator, Aaron Mayes, as part of UNLV Special Collections and Archives visual material holdings. The original acquisition contained 7.42 linear feet of duplicate materials that were removed and returned to the donor.
