Abstract
The Southern Nevada Coalition of Concerned Women, Inc. Records (1996-2018) contains photographs, charity event programs, operational records, correspondence, and newspaper clippings. The majority of the collection consists of photographs and other materials documenting SNCCW's annual fundraising luncheons. Also included are the SNCCW's Articles of Incorporation, a brochure, awards, and certificates.

Digital files in this collection consist of primarily photographs and souvenir journal pages for the 9th and 10th annual fundraiser luncheon. Also included are the SNCCW's Articles of Incorporation, a brochure, awards, and certificates.

Biographical / Historical Note
The Southern Nevada Coalition of Concerned Women, Inc. (SNCCW) was formed by Betty Brewer, Gloria Hewitt, and Beverly Stewart who were concerned with the many issues confronting African American women in Southern Nevada. On March 28, 1996 the group named themselves the Southern Nevada Coalition of Concerned Women and developed a mission statement. The group grew over the next several years and held many charity luncheons and participated in other charity events around the Las Vegas, Nevada area. On January 28, 2017 the SNCCW dissolved due to loss of community interest and participation.

Processing Note
In 2017, Maggie Bukowski accessioned the collection and created the finding aid in ArchivesSpace. In 2017, Tammi Kim transferred files off of optical discs and created the descriptions in ArchivesSpace. In 2018, as part of an archival backlog elimination project, Joyce Moore rehoused and arranged the materials, and revised the collection description to bring it into compliance with current professional standards. In 2021, Tammi Kim accessioned the 2021 addition and updated the finding aid.
