Abstract

Oral history interview with Lee Koury conducted by Claytee D. White on February 06, 2013 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview Lee Koury discusses his early life in Los Angeles, California. He then talks about working as a deputy Sheriff for Los Angeles County and how he dealt with the Charles Manson case during his career as deputy Sheriff. He then discusses his move to Missouri to become the United States Marshal for Missouri and then becoming a criminal court judge in Boone County, Missouri. He also discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2010 for retirement.
