Oral history interview with Rory Reid conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee White on July 13, 2017 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. Reid recalls growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada as a Mormon, and his legal and political careers in the Nevada Democratic Party.

Oral history interview with Rory Reid conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee White on July 13, 2017 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. Reid recalls growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada, going to college in Utah for law school, and his Mormon mission to Argentina. He also talks about his legal career with Lionel Sawyer and Collins, and Andy Tompkins's Lady Luck Casino. He then discusses his various political roles as a chair of the Nevada Democratic Party, emphasizing the long-term damage that Operation G-Sting inflicted on the public’s trust in local government.
