The 19th and 20th Century Children's Literature collection consists of 195 titles, dated from approximately 1805 to 1977, that cover a wide range of subjects. These items were originally housed in the Teacher Development and Resource Library (TDRL) at UNLV. The provenance is unknown, but some items do have donor bookplates.

The provenance for this collection is unknown. Materials were transferred from the Teacher Development and Resource Library (TDRL), reviewed, and retained as part of UNLV Special Collections and Archives rare book holdings. Of the original ~400 books, only 195 were retained.
