The Sal Angelica Scrapbooks (1959-2021) are comprised of 23 scrapbooks created by dancer Sal Angelica that document his career performing in a variety of shows in Las Vegas, Nevada, New York, and California, as well as touring performances throughout the United States and internationally. The scrapbooks are labeled and contain photographs, newspaper clippings, show programs, contracts, and correspondence such as telegrams of congratulations, greeting cards, and printed emails. The photographs include publicity photos, backstage and personal snapshots, and action shots of performances. Shows documented in the scrapbooks include Latin Quarter, Casino de Paris, Lido de Paris, Hallelujah Hollywood, Flesh, Juliet Prowse, West Side Story, and others. Angelica regularly attended cast reunions, so there are modern photos of him with other performers at reunions held for Casino de Paris, Folies Bergere, Lido de Paris, and Latin Quarter, along with emails providing detailed information about the reunions. The collection also includes signed photographs, obituaries, and other documents relating to dancers and celebrities with whom Angelica performed.
