The James Perkins Correspondence consist solely of letters he wrote while stationed at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada from 1951 to 1952. Correspondence is comprised of approximately 200 letters from Perkins to his family in New York. The letters refer to life on the base, life in the Air Force, with descriptions of occasional trips into downtown Las Vegas, Nevada.
