Biographical / Historical Note
Political activist and mental health advocate Rosemary Clarke was born on November 3rd, 1917.. A promoter for educational opportunities for the mentally ill and disabled, she held several positions including the President of the Clark County Mental Health Association, President of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Nevada Medical Association, and was a member of the Nevada State Board of Education.
Rosemary Clarke passed away on June 13, 2000.
