The Barrick Lecture Series Records (approximately 1980-2026) consists of audio recordings and poster advertisements of lectures given by distinguished guests as part of the Barrick Lecture Series. Some of the guests included Presidents Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter as well as politicians such as Henry Kissinger and Bill Bradley. Other notable guests included astronomer Carl Sagan, journalist Cokie Roberts, political satirist Mark Russell, and former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, and actress Brook Shields. The records also contain photographs, posters, and pamphlets advertising the lecture events.

The Barrick Lecture Series was established in 1980 by philanthropist Marjorie Barrick in honor of her late husband, Edward, at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lectures take place two to three times every year. Invited lecturers have included politicians, journalists, broadcasters, diplomats, and international figures.

Materials were received periodically from the Barrick Lecture Series; accession number 2017-078. This set of records include former record group number RG 7.2.1. Additional material was transfered in 2026 by the Office of the President; acccession number 2026-049.
In 2019, as part of an archival backlog elimination project, Mary Anilao processed the materials and wrote the finding aid in ArchivesSpace. Later in 2019, Joseph Puentes processed and boxed additional materials and updated finding aid information. In 2026, Landon Paljusaj accessioned the single poster in the 2026-049 accession. Sarah Jones updated the finding aid and rehoused the item.
