A. J. Shaver Papers (1925-1964) are comprised of numerous government documents relating to the Boulder (Hoover) Dam/Colorado River Project, including the Boulder Dam legislation passed by the U.S. Senate and a copy of the Congressional Record April 13, 1928. There are hearings, reports, Senate bills, bulletins, and surveys regarding land use, development, and water and power in Nevada, California, and Arizona. There are also papers about Marienne Shaver's involvement in the Las Vegas High School Parent Teacher's Association (PTA) and the Girl Scouts of America, including minutes, correspondence, notes, and brochures.
