The John G. (Jack) Fogliani Photograph Collection is comprised of two black-and-white photographic reprints created between approximately 1971 and 2004 of the natural landscape of Eagle Valley, Nevada. The original photographs were taken between approximately 1900 and 1920.

Biographical / Historical Note
John G. (Jack) Fogliani, the eldest son of Lewis and Ceadora Fogliani, was born August 25, 1900 in Pioche, Nevada. Fogliani served as a Nevada Assemblyman for Lincoln County, Nevada from 1935 to 1936, and as a warden for the Nevada State Prison from 1959 to 1967 until he was fired by Governor Paul Laxalt following a prison break. Fogliani passed away on March 15, 1987 at his home in Jacks Valley, Nevada.
