The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Phi Lambda Alpha Records (1968-1984) include memorabilia documenting and describing the organization's activities and procedural operations. The records include scrapbooks, stationary, pins, applications, constitutions, business papers, invitation lists, rubber stamps, and charter inventories. The records also include descriptions of initiation procedures and signed initiation papers by students, faculty, and advisors.

Biographical / Historical Note
Phi Lambda Alpha is a Latin collegiate social fraternity that aims to "form companionships, cultivate university spirit, socially recreate and to give financial help to its members." The organization was formed on June 11, 1921 in New York City, New York and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas chapter of Phi Lambda Alpha was chartered in 1968.
