Abstract
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas College of Human Performance Development Photographs is comprised of photographs of students and faculty at various events at UNLV's campus from approximately 1995. Some of the photographs show students and faculty at work conducting research or in the classroom. These photographs were used to create promotional and marketing materials for the college.

Biographical / Historical Note
The College of Human Performance and Development was established at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 1981 and was organized into three departments: Health Education and Sports Injury Management, Kinesiology, and Sports and Leisure Studies. The college offered both undergraduate and graduate course offerings to prepare students for careers in disciplines such as sports medicine, physical therapy, health education, and recreation industries. The college was dissolved in approximately 1998 and the three departments were reorganized under different schools at UNLV.

Materials were minimally processed in 2019 by Tammi Kim during accessioning. Photographs were rehoused and a finding aid was created in ArchivesSpace. No further work has been performed on the materials.
