BID NO. 59.24 Commissioner Fountain moved that Bid No. 59.24 for the Paving of St. Louis from Paving, St. Louis; 10th Street to Maryland Parkway, including curb, gutter and sidewalk be awarded to 10th to Maryland Parkway Wells Cargo, Inc., P. O. Box 1:30, Las Vegas, Nevada, in the amount of $8,422.72 as recommended by the Public Works Department. Award Wells Cargo, Inc. BID NO. 59.31 The Commission considered the recommendation of the Public Works Department to hold Gasoline Bid No. 59.31 for Gasoline for further study. Abeyance Mr. Conroy of the Union Oil Company spoke from the audience in regard to this bid being held for farther study and stated that his company bid two grades of gasoline, both over specifications required. He was of the opinion that the bid of the Union Oil Company was to the best interest of the City and advantage could be taken of both items they had bid. City Manager Kennedy stated that all bids received were for premium gasoline except for this one alternate by the Union Oil Company and if alternate bids were to be considered it would be necessary to rebid. Commissioner Elwell moved that Bid No. 59.31 for Gasoline be held in abeyance for further study as recommended by the Public Works Department. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Elwell, Fountain and His Honor Acting Mayor Pro Tem Sharp voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor C. D.
