Richard Lochrie, being first duly sworn, deposes and says: That he is Foreman of the LAS VEGAS MORNING SUN, a daily newspaper of general circulation, printed and published at Las Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the attached was continuously published in said newspaper for a period of two weeks from December 28, 1955 to January 3, 1956 inclusive, being the issues of said newspaper for the following dates, to-wit: December 28, 1955, January 3, 1956. GREENSPUN Notary Public In and For Clark County, Nevada My Commission Expires Mar. 17, 1956 ORDINANCE NO. 683 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 24, SECTION 26, CODE OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, 1949, AS AMENDED, CHANGING THE MINIMUM BUILDING LINE SETBACKS AND STREET WIDTH LINES, ON PORTIONS OF MAIN STREET AND BONANZA ROAD; PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Paragraph 1, Section 26, Chapter 24, Code of Las Vegas, Nevada, is hereby amended to read as follows: 1. Main Street: (a) From the North City Boundary to Stewart Street, fifty (50) feet from the center line on each side thereof. (b) From Stewart Street to Carson Street, fifty-five (55) feet from the centerline on the Westerly side thereof; and forty-five (45) feet from the centerline on the Easterly side thereof. (c) From Carson Street to South Fifth Street, forty-five (45) feet from the centerline on each side thereof. SECTION 2. Paragraph 5, Section 26, Chapter 24, Code of Las Vegas, Nevada, as amended by Ordinance No. 573, is hereby amended to read as follows: 5. Bonanza Road: (a) From the intersection of North Main Street to the intersection of "H" Street, forty (40) feet from the centerline on the Northerly side thereof; and sixty (60) feet from the centerline on the Southerly side thereof. (b) From the intersection of "H" Street to the intersection of Rancho Road, fifty (50) feet from the centerline on each side thereof. SECTION 3. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its final reading and adop­tion, and final publication as in the next section provided. SECTION 5. The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas shall cause this Ordinance to be published once a week for two successive weeks immediately following its first reading and adoption in the Las Vegas Sun, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas.
