On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing rider C.A. No. 10062-5, dated August 6, 1943, ex­tending to August 31, 1946, term of lease Audit No. 10062, dated February 17, 1940, expiring August 31, 1943, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company and B. Laustalot, covering a portion of Union Pacific Tract No. 5, East Los Angeles, Cal­ifornia, for agricultural purposes; rental $26.00 per month, payable monthly in advance; subject to termination by either party upon 30 days' written notice; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, the following resolution was unanimously adopted; WHEREAS, under date of May 11, 1943, Las Vegas Land and Water Company, called "Land Company", entered into agree­ment Audit No. 5028, with Buttress & McClellan, Inc., as Trustee, called "Purchaser", covering the purchase and sale of certain land, spur track and improvements thereon, located at Boyle Ave. and Leonis Blvd., Vernon, California, (formerly leased to General Motors Corporation under C.A. No. 10096, dated October 29, 1940); Land Company also granting Purchaser sixty-day option from May 11, 1943, or until July 10, 1943, to purchase certain adjoining land; and WHEREAS, under amendatory agreement C.L.D. No. 5104, dated July 1, 1943, between said parties, providing that upon
