C-L.D.No. 2086 - Letter of understanding between LA&8L, UNION PACIFIC and ROSCOE MOSS COMPANY, covering investiga­tion and performance of work on Well No. 2 (Water) at Las Vegas, Nevada, Los Angeles, June 22, 1938 File 174-2 Mr. Walter R. Bracken: As requested in your letter of June 18, 1938, I enclose herewith, executed by Roscoe Moss Company, dupli­cate originals of the above mentioned letter of understand­ing, the Railroad Company*s counterpart bearing approval as to form. The letter should be executed on behalf of the Railroad Companies by Mr. Guild under existing authority of Section 4, Article V of the By-Laws of LA&SL and Union Pacific, pursuant to delegation of such authority as shown by Section IV (a) of the Instructions Concerning the Handling of Contracts.
