CHARITABLE SOLICITATION Commissioner Sharp moved that the following Charitable Solicitation Permits as PERMITS approved by the Solicitation Review Board be approved and the Supervisor of License and Revenue authorized to issue the permits: Approved a) LIONS CLUB - Breakfasters - Annual house-to-house light bulb sale b) ROSE DE LIME HOSPITAL AUXILIARY - Annual cocktail party with raffle c) MOUNTAIN VIEW P.T.A. - Cake sales d) BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH MEN'S CLUB - Ads in Baptist Souvenir Book e) WHIRL-A-WAY SQUARE DANCE CLUB - Annual festival, program advertising and food sales at the festival f) JEWISH WAR VETERANS - Tickets to PAL Golden Gloves Fights Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. LIQUOR, GAMING & TOBACCO Commissioner Bunker moved that the application of the The Lake Company doing business APPLICATION as Sill's Drive In at 5th and Charleston to change the name to "Tip Top" be approved and the Supervisor of License and Revenue authorized to issue the licenses for Sill's Drive In to Tip Top existing Beer and Wine, Gaming and Tobacco licenses. Approved Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. LIQUOR & GAMING APPLICATIONS Commissioner Bunker moved that the following applications for change in corporation Change in Corporation Owner- ownership be approved and the Supervisor of License and Revenue be authorized to ship - Approved issue the licenses: (Police reports are favorable on the applicants) NEW PIONEER CLUB INC. 25 Fremont Oscar Agron (10% interest in all Gaming & Liquor) HORSESHOR CLUB 128 Fremont Harry Wrest (1% interest in all Gaming & Liquor) Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. LIQUOR APPLICATION Commissioner Bunker moved that the application of W. J. Moore, Jr. et al, doing New business as the Showboat, Boulder Highway, for a service bar, ba approved and the Showboat Supervisor of License and Revenue be authorized to issue the license. Approved Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Whipple and Sharp and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. LIQUOR APPLICATION Commissioner Bunker moved that the application of William T. Papagna and Thomas F. New Papagna doing business as the Cinnabar, 122 N. 2nd, for a Tavern Liquor License, Cinnabar presently issued to Robert Testolin, be approved and the Supervisor of License and Revenue authorized to issue the license. Police reports are favorable on the Approved applicants. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. GAMING APPLICATIONS Commissioner Whipple moved that the following applications be approved and the ADDITIONAL Supervisor of License and Revenue be authorized to incorporate these additional games to the present licenses: NEW PIONEER CLUB INC. 25 Fremont Sam Diamond et al 19 Slots TIP TOP 5th & Charleston The Lake Company 4 Slots Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. GAMING APPLICATIONS Commissioner Bunker moved that the following applications be approved and the Addition of Partner Supervisor of License and Revenue be authorized to issue the licenses. Approved PADDOCK RACEBOOK 124 S. 1st Nathan Lubell (75% interest Racebook & Sportsbook) HOLLYWOOD RACEBOOK 115 N. 1st George P. Stillwaugh (33 1/3% interest Racebook) Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. GAMING APPLICATION Commissioner Whipple moved that the application of Jack Gaughan doing business as Change of Location the Saratoga Sportsbook, 114 S. 1st, to change the name to Derby Sportsbook and to and Name change the location to 133 S. 1st, be approved and the Supervisor of License and Saratoga Sportsbook Revenue authorized to issue the license. to Derby Sportsbook Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Approved Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none.
