Lear S i r :- Referring to your favor of February 14,1912, regarding collection of dockage at East San Pedro* Superintendent Cullen has had this matter up with the local officials of the Southern Pacific Company since September 28th last year and the only response that he has been able to get was that the Southern Pacific local offiee had taken it up with higher officers and had gotten nothing definite respecting the matter. Do you not think that it will be best for you to take this matter up with the Law Department of the Southern Pacific people direct? It seems to me something might be accomplished if that were done. Kindly advise. Yours truly, Auditor
