I agree.Mr. E. M. Sutton: Referring to your memo January 6th, file BP 19-1-9 concerning accuracy of water meter readings for November 1942. I quote Mr. Fish's explanation? "Although we have investigated from various angles we are unable to determine the reason why this low consumption of water was reported which appears to have been due to the Clark Street meter not registering. Subsequent readings of this meter do not indicate there is anything wrong with it. Mr. J. M. Anderson advises that they did find the meter train on the meter loose, and this must have been the reason why this meter did not register.1* In further explanation, I might say we have three master meters at Las Vegas thru which water is received from the UFHR, one at Clark Street, one at Ogden Street and one to West Side or "Old Town". Analysis indicated delivery of water thru both the Ogden Street and West Side meters were comparable with previous months; but the Clark Street measurement was definitely cut of line. Superintendents investigation develops it was not registering properly during that month, but has since been performing satisfactorily. Las Vegas - February 13, 1943 W 25 boy - Mr. &. C.
