I preVmme all this gravel was hauled in $wjo or three car lots in regular trains, and that commercial tonnage was not reduced in order to handle the gravel, putting the Operating gepaitnient under very little if any additional expense except switching, picking up and setting out again; and I Believe rate of lap per ton per mile, which would he about fl2 per car, would he fair to both departments.
