Dear Sirs: I enclose copy of Prof. Merrill's report of Ms recent inspection of the two experimental farms that have been established this spring at Nada and Malone under the direction of the Utah Agricultural College, which I thought you would be interested in reading as they are the first attempts to do any really effective work that we have been able to get started in the Escalante Valley, and it certainly is encouraging to know that the two farms look so promising.
