HS r= f BARNEY GLAZER In L Vegas The Stardust Hotel last week premiered ?╟úTout Paris,?╟Ñ eighth edition of the Lido de Paris in its magnificent Cafe Continen- tal. As with its first seven edi- tions, ?╟úTout Paris?╟Ñ featured spectacular'production numbers interspersed with' many excel- lent acts. Donn'Arden againiV presented his singers and beautiful Bluer bell Girl dancers in the produc- tion numbers. The Lido of Paris is their home base, but actually they appear with leading spec- tacular shows in many Euro- pean entertainment capitals. - The eighth edition features a great disaster scene, traditional in the/revue. Both the swim- ming pool and ice rink were rebuilt, the Lido stage remain- ing the only stage in Las Vegas with both. j Six independent elevators car- ry out spectacular effects. Addi- tionally, turntables at either end of the stage increase visibil- ity from all sdats and -make viewing easy from any table in the room. A staircase lends further flex- ibility to the panoramic stage, j The descending disks remain, with new decorations. Beautiful j chandeliers have been added. Italian costume designer Folco J made all costumes for the show j in Las Vegas': Supporting acts include:' The Nitwits,' -# zany group of -10' | musicians, last \ seen here in 1966. All other acts, from the Paris Lido, appear here for the first time. ; skaters Parker and Powers headline the moveable ice stage show. Rudy Schweitz- er has an unusual juggling act. Binder and Binder, a teeter- board boy-girl j act, performs feats of balance. Speedy, comic contortionists Evers and Toni add the tyrolean flavor. If you're looking for the most spectacular show in town, no need to make an issue of it as Lancelot made ojut of his quest for the Holy Grail. You?╟╓ll find the spectacle at the Star- dust and it will be here for a long time. One suggestion: make your reservations well in advance of your planned visit.
