I agree.12/18/72 SUPERSTAR OF NEW LIDO REVUE OBLIVIOUS TO ACCLAIM LAS VEGAS?╟÷Fantastic, colossal, stupendous, gigantic, fabulous, superb, spectacular, awesome and titanic are just a few of the accolades used to describe the star of the all-new 10th edition of Lido de Paris, set to premiere Dec. 28 at the Stardust Hotel. This superstar shows no bad temper, has never been besieged by autograph hunters nor had her name in lights. The true star of the new Lido? The basketball court-sized stage in the Stardust's Cafe Continental showroom. Silently performing wild gyrations throughout the lavish Lido revue, the stage will astonish turnaway crowds as she alternately becomes an Oriental garden, a medieval castle, a Parisian street, a women's prison and all the seven seas of the world. An army of stagehands and technical experts will make all the mammoth transformations seem so easy and natural. All electronic controls and computerized systems for the show are housed within a room not unlike the cockpit of a giant jet airplane, and the "pilot" is in full charge. A miscue might suddenly have King Arthur walking into the prison or a bevy of seagoing beauties crowding aboard a tiny sampan. -32-
