    SECTION 6. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance, shall, upon conviction, he punished by a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment in the City Jail for not more than six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. The violation of any section of this ordinance shall in addition to the penalty hereinabove provided, be grounds for the revocation of the pawnbroker's license issued by the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas. SECTION 7. If any part, provision, or section of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstances shall be held invalid by any Court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of this ordinance or the application of such part, provision, or section to any other person or circumstance shall not be affected thereby. SECTION 8. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its final reading and adoption, and final publication as in the next section provided. SECTION 9. The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas shall cause this ordinance to be published once a week for two successive weeks immediately following its reading and adoption, in the Las Vegas Sun, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas. GREENSPUN___________ Notary Public in and for Clark County, Nevada My Commission Expires Mar. 17, 1956 ORDINANCE NO. 626 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO, AND MAKING A PART OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED TERRITORY ADJOINING AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS; DECLARING SAID TERRITORY AND INHABITANTS TO BE ANNEXED THERETO AND SUBJECT TO ALL LAWS AND ORDINANCES; ORDERING A PLAT SHOWING SAID TERRITORY TO BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF THE COUNTY OF CLARK, STATE OF NEVADA; AND PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Pursuant to Petitions duly presented to the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, signed by a majority of the freeholders in the area containing each of the hereinafter described parcels of real property requesting the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas to annex to and make a part of the City of Las Vegas each of the hereinafter described parcels of real property, the exterior boundaries of the City of Las Vegas are hereby extended to annex to, and include therein, each of the following described parcels of real property, to-wit: PARCEL NO. 1 That portion of Lot 3, Section 1, Township 21 South, Range 6l East, M.D.B.&M., as shown on the map thereof on file in the County Court House designated as Instrument #25193, File #3, at Page 59, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the SW corner of Lot 3 in said Section 1, the point of beginning, run thence N 0° 10' 30" W 481.53 feet to a point on the West R/w boundary of U. S. Highway #95, thence S 42° 27' E along said R/W 648.64 feet to a point, thence S 89° 37’ W 436.34 feet to the point of beginning. Contains 2.412 acres.
