    s> 4^Mr. Frank Strong: Las Vegas - June 6, 1944 W 23-3 V In looking over the water facilities at Las Vegas with Mr. Ashby today, we find that the amount of water percolating into the pit of the pump house at the Open Spring has decreased to such an extent that the pump operates only forty minutes, then cuts out for two hours, during which period the chlorine continues to run into the pit. the pump and chlorinator at the Open Spring for the present, as we now have ample water from other sources, and to continue operating the pump on Well No. 5, in the hope that it will have a further beneficial effect on the Open Spring.
