Reinhardt - Los A n geles: Recently the C ity o f Las Vegas annexed some 700 acres ly in g north o f West Charleston Boulevard and west o f the o ld c it y lim it s along the west lin e o f Section JL, T 20S, ft 6 l-E * Mr, John Warren, President o f the Anaoopa Construction Company o f Santa Barbara, advises that Anacopa Co. to geth er w ith Ernest A. Becker and Frederick A. Aldous & Co. both o f Los Angeles are forming a new corporation to construct & housing p ro je c t in Lae Vegas* Mr. Warren s ta te s , they have option on the p a rcel o f land in d ica ted on the attached map containing in excess o f 300 acres upon which they propose to u ltim a tely construct 1400 homes. The i n i t i a l development w i l l be confined to the sou theasterly 60 acres upon which they propose to proceed w ith e a rly construction o f 19L homes. A te n ta tiv e map o f Charleston Heights, Onlt Mo. 1 is attached. Mr. Warren advises the area marked "Mot a part o f th is Subdivision* is being reserved fo r ftuture commercial development. As the northwest corner o f Section 36 w i l l be approximately 130 fe e t above the lo c a tio n o f the proposed pressure tower near Hyde Park A ddition , i t appears th is tower w i l l be inadequate to serve the new development.
