    353 Las Vegas, Nevada MINUTES April 1, 1959 A regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, held this 1st day of April, 1959, was called to order at the hour of 7:30 P.M. by His Honor Mayor Baker with the following members present: Mayor C. D. Baker Commissioner E. W. Fountain Commissioner Harris P. Sharp Commissioner Reed Whipple City Manager A. H. Kennedy Deputy City Attorney Sidney R. Whitmore Planning Director Franklin J. Bills Dir. Public Works Richard P. Sauer Acting City Clerk Robert F. Boos Absent: City Attorney Calvin Cory PAYROLL WARRANTS Commissioner Whipple moved that Regular Payroll Warrants Nos. 33601 - 34136 for the pay period March 16 - March 31, 1959 in the net amount of $79,402.82; and Overtime Payroll Warrant Nos. 34137 - 34145 in the net amount of $459.95 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. TRANSFER OF CREDIT Commissioner Fountain moved that the transfer of Credit Union Withholding in the amount UNION WITHHOLDING of $17,235.48 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. SERVICE & MATERIAL Commissioner Whipple moved that the Service and Material Warrant Nos. 4864 - 5001 and WARRANTS Nos. 0001 - 0039 in the amount of $68,214.67 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. GAMING APPLICATION Commissioner Fountain moved that the application of John H. Husser for a Slot Operator New License for the J & H Vending Co., 5000 Boulder Highway be approved and the Supervisor J & H Vending Co. of License and Revenue be authorized to issue the license. Police report is favorable on the applicant. Approved Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none.
