Smith Recommendation for Las Vegas Land and Water Company authority to construct at Company expense approximately 310 LF of 8" and LF of 6" cast iron water mains to serve Bonanza Road Industrial District, Las Vegas, Nevada, at an estimated cost of $3,338.00. This proposed water main is needed to provide necessary water service to rapidly developing Union Pacific Industrial District adjacent to Bonanza Road, Las Vegas, Nevada, and has heen requested by the Las Vegas City Fire Department to provide fire protection to major Union Pacific Railroad Industries adjacent thereto. Proposed water mains will also provide a circulating system and additional water pressure which is badly needed in case of fire. Approval of Las Vegas Valley Water District under provisions of Section 13, paragraph (b) of Agreement "C"L.D. 113^2 dated June 1, 1953, has been obtained. Mr. Bennett sees no legal objection. A.
