the City will grant property in the Hyde Park area and the Golf Course area in payment of $22,505.00 by the School District. His Honor asked if there were any questions or objections to this exchange of property. None were voiced or filed. Thereafter Commissioner Bunker moved the following resolution be adopted: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas has held a public hearing considering the desirability of exchanging certain real property with the Clark County School District; and WHEREAS, notice of such hearing has been held in accordance with Chapter 98, 1957 Laws of Nevada; and WHEREAS, no objections to the proposed exchange have been entered with the Board and the said exchange of property with the Clark County School District will result in a better public use for the said land than to have it remain in the possession of the City of Las Vegas, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS that the City of Las Vegas agrees to exchange with the Clark County School District that certain parcel of land described as follows: A certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situate in the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and being a portion of the Northeast Quarter (NE¼) of Section 30, Township 20 South, Range 61 East, M.D.B.& M., and being more, particularly described as follows, to-wit: The West Half (W½) of the Southwest Quarter (SW¼) of the Northeast Quarter (NE¼) of Section 30, Township 20 South, Range 61 East, M.D.B. & M., save and except the Southerly 40 feet thereof for street purposes. Containing 19.65 acres more or less.
