Dear Sir:- I beg to acknowledge receipt of yours of the l7th, which refers to the butcher business and also that you desire to ship a carload of mutton from Modena which you can buy at $3.00 f.o.b. that point, and you think it would be advisable to have it for a change. In reply, beg to say I do not think we could afford to ship a oarload of mutton at this time as we are quite anxj§ous to work off ! . -t'-' ' '•< v ^ *v_ all the beef possible. I would, however, suggest that if you could get a few dressed mutton shipped in at a reasonable price, that it might be well to do so, which would not interfere very materially with our own beef.
