CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING May 13, 1953 TO: SHIRLEY BALLINGER, City Clerk Las Vegas, Nevada A special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, is hereby called to be held in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, on the 13th day of May, 1953, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. to consider the following matters: 1. Canvass of Election Returns 2. Public Hearings: a. Assessment Roll for District No. 200-12 b. Re zoning from R-1 to R-2, R-3 and R-4: Proposed Herr Estates Subdivision located south of Charleston Boulevard and east of Eastern Avenue. (This hearing was continued from meeting of 5-6-53). 3. Award of following bids: a. Construction bid for Assessment District No. 100-20. b. Construction bid for Assessment District No. 200-12. c. 9-Hole Golf Course extension. d. Bid #53.20 - Multilith paper. e. Bid #53.21 - Pickup trucks. f. Bid #53.22 - Coupe and Sedan. 4. Taxi applications: a. Additional - Union Cab Ao., 722 North Main - 1 taxi b. New - Mercy Ambulance Service, 506½ Bridger, M.M. Bishop and Don M. Willson - 1 ambulance 5. Right-of-way Deeds from Ada Weber for portions of 6 th, 7th and Bracken. 6 . Service & Material Warrants Nos. 2414 to 2424. inc. in the total amount of $23,237.96 7. Application of White Spot Cafe, 126 North 1st Street for a Restaurant Beverage liquor license for the 2nd quarter of 1953. This is a new license. 8 .
