MAY 28 1953 I am enclosing the following documents relating to the transfer of the water production facilities of the LA&SL to LVL&W Company, which have been approved by Mr. Rouse and which you will undoubtedly desire to submit to Mr. Stoddard for execution pursuant to his mailgram of March 27, 1953> to you: 1. Original, approval copy (bearing approval as to form) and three extra copies of Deed of water-bearing land from LA&SL to UPRR. 2. Original, approval copy (bearing approval as to form) and three extra copies of Deed of water bearing land from UPRR to LVL&W Co. 3. Original, approval copy (bearing approval as to form) and three extra copies of Bill of Sale of water production and transmission facilities from LA&SL To UPRRCo. 4. Original, approval copy (bearing approval as to form) and three extra copies of Bill of Sale of water production and transmission facilities from UPRR to LVL&WCo. 5. Duplicate originals (each bearing approval as to form) and three copies of proposed contract between LA&SL, UPRR and LVL&WCo. Each of the enclosed documents may be executed by the President of the Railroad Companies with the consent of the Executive Committee pursuant to Section 3,Article V, of the LA&SL Bylaws and Section 6, Article V, of the Union Pacific Bylaws. The contract described in item 5 above may be executed by the President of the Land Company pursuant to Section 3, Article IV, of the Bylaws as amended and effective July 11, 19^.
