I agree.between forty and fifty boats. Sometime next week we will be receiving a list of all club members so we will be able to keep in touch throughout the year and build as much interest as possible for future races. Joe Buck, the only Las Vegas entrant, said that by next year he expected there would be at least six local boats racing in addition to those from California. The one recommendation I would make is that next year we have a security guard at the event to assist with crowds, etc., and that we apply for a one-day beer license. I also suggest we give consideration to purchasing a perpetual trophy which would be on display somewhere in the Sands lobby. X believe this would stimulate interest and would be seen by thousands of visitors each year.
