covering lease of ground floor store room at 430 West Sixth Street, Los Angeles, Calif., to be used for the purpose of manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing cigars, cigarettes, tobacco, pipes and smokers' supplies, and incidental uses; rental consideration: of gross receipts with minimum of $600 per month, payable monthly in advance; said $600 being in lieu of $500 per month minimum rental provided in agreement Audit No. 10184; for the last month of term, an amount equal to excess of 6 % of gross receipts over $600; the sum of $600 paid as consideration for original lease to be applied as rental for last month of the extended term; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Guild and Asst. Secretary Bachman in executing agreement NLD 1877, dated September 1, 1947, with The County of Clark, covering acquisition by LVL&WCo. of 5,125 lin. ft. of 8", 6" and 4” pipe line and 8" meter, serving Clark County Hospital, Las Vegas, Nevada; considera­tion $12,254.50; said agreement providing: C ounty: 1 - To sell, assign, transfer and set over to LVL&WCo. all its right, title and interest in and to said pipe line and meter, together with all valves, fittings and valve boxes^ connected therewith, and to deliver to this Company, a good and sufficient instrument, in writing, conveying to this Company title to said pipe line, meter, valves, fittings and valve boxes; 2 - To furnish to Company satisfactory easements where said pipe line is laid in other than dedicated streets and alleys; provided, how­ever, that no such easement shall be required for such portion of said water line as may be laid in property owned by LA&SLRRCo., or its Lessee, TJPRRCo.; -3-
