Description

From the Sister Klaryta Antoszewska Photograph Collection (PH-00352). Tortoise sign in the desert that reads: "DESERT TORTOISE HABITAT THREATENED SPECIES", "NO NUKING TORTOISES", "IT IS UNLAWFUL TO POSSESS, HARASS, TRANSPORT, INJURE, KILL, RECEIVE OR REMOVE A THREATENED OR ENDANGERED SPECIES. 16 USC Sec. 1538.". There is also a picture of a tortoise on the sign.
