    • ,! May 28th, 1904. Dr.J.K.W.Bracken, l»as Vegas, Nevada. Dear Sir; Replying to your letter of May 23rd in regard to using up the surplus water on the ranch. I attach hereto a map showing land adjoin­ing the Las Vegas ranch, both for which we have deeds and which is covered by options. It is our intention to take up the options early next month; in the meantime should you find it necessary to do so, you may run the water on to any of the land shown on the map with the excep­tion of that owned by Col.Maxson. it generally known that we have acquired any additional land until the matter is finally disposed of. In regard to the date I will be at the ranch; I am sorry to advise you that I find it impossible to make the trip at this time, how- Wh&w ever, 1 do decide to make the trip, I will advise you in plenty of time, in order that you may be there.
