I agree.11/7 FOR LOOK -?╟÷ exclusive The name "Ziegfeld Follies" hasn't flashed across a marquee for 20 years -~~ not since the last night of February, 1934, when Lee Shubert presented the famous show at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City. But the name didn't die. Nor the memory. People versed in showbusiness kept hoping for the day when some enterprising producer would come up with the show again, perhaps with a new twist --- perhaps with a modern version of the famous old dancing shows. Late in 1953, Lee Shubert ?╟÷~ 36 hours before his death ?╟÷ found the right man for the show ?╟÷ and turned the rights to the "Follies" over to Jack Entratter, 39-year old producer of the Copacabana in New York until two years ago, and now co-owner and producer at the Sands Hotel in Nevada. Entratter did right by the famous name. He brougit in Frank Sinatra to star in the first presentation?╟÷prepared new lyrics, original tunes and choreography ?╟÷ but used the same old tricks of lots of pretty girls.
