Sept* 8, 1949 file: 174-2 Mr. j . a. Allard, Chairman Public Service Commission of Nevada, Carson City, Nevada. Dear Mr. Allard: This will confirm our conversation of this morning relative to report of Commissioner Williams regarding the water situation at Lae Vegas, the report being dated July 23, 1949 and sent to Mr. Polger with your letter of August 2, 1949. Mr. Reinhardt, Vice President of the Water Company, feels that it might be desirable to have an informal meeting with some of the Commissioners of the Public Service Commission of Nevada in order that we might discuss the entire water situation in las Vegas and X understand It will be agreeable to you to have that meeting at Las Vegas at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 11th. It is my thought that you might desire to have both Mr. Smith and Mr. Williams present and possibly Mr. Jameson, the local water representative of the Commission. It is Mr. Reinhardts thought that it might be well to invite one or two of the officials of the City of Las Vegas to attend that meeting and if, in confirming the time and plaoe of this meeting you will suggest who you think. Wl should have present from the offlolal family of the City of Las Vegas, X will take it upon myself to invite them to attend the meeting and also endeavor to arrange, through Mayor Cralgen, to. have a room available.
