\ Co., Inc., covering the construction and laying of 475 feet of 6m cast iron water mains to serve portion of Block 1, Boulder Dam Homesite Addition, Las Vegas, Nevada; consideration $1,722.00, plus actual cost of premium on Surety Bond; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Reinhardt in executing lease agreement CLD No. 11541, dated March 3, 1954, with W. A. Nesbitt, an individual, Lessee, covering site for storage of construction equipment and supplies, near California and Hill Streets, Long Beach, Calif., for term beginning February 15, 1954, and extending to February 15, 1959; rental $65 per annum, payable annually in advance; subject to termination by either party upon 30 days* written notice; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. Following Authority for Expenditure Requests, approved by the President, were submitted for ratification; A. F. E. No. 1 (W. 0. #774), issued Feb. 2, 1954; Las Vegas, Nevada; constructing 475 ft. of 6n cast iron water main to serve portion of Block 1, Boulder Dam Homesite Addition, Tract No. 1. Total estimated expenditure, $2,850, chargeable to Investment In Water System-Las Vegas, Nev. A. F. E. No. 2 (W. 0. #775), issued Feb. 2, 1954; Las Vegas, Nev.; constructing 3362 ft. of 8n and 3821 ft. of 6n cast iron water mains and 130 ft. of 6n cast Iron fire protection laterals for 9 hydrants and installing pressure reducing valve to serve Twin Lakes Village Unit No. 2 and Blocks 1 and 2 of Heers Subdivision-Nevada No. 1. Total estimated expenditure, $50,331, chargeable to Investment in Water System-Las Vegas, Nev. -6-
