m UNION PACIFIC SYSTEM LOS ANGELES & SALT LAKE RAILROAD COMPANY F. H. KNICKERBOCKER. GENERAL MANAGER 523 PACIFIC ELECTRIC BUILDING LOS ANGELES, CAL. June 23, 1927 085-355 Mr. W. R. Bracken, Vice-President & Agent, las Vegas Land & Water Go., las Vegas, Nevada. Dear Sir: Referring to my letter June 10 regarding agreement under which Las Vegas Land & Water Company purchase water from the Railroad Company at Las Vegas, also, to my letter June 20, regarding proposed sale hy Las Vegas Land & Water Company to the Consolidated Power & Telephone Company, of our franchise and pole line at Las Vegas: I am enclosing in duplicate proposed agreement covering extension of contract Audit No. a850-A between the Railroad Company and the Land & Water Company to September 30, 1927. If satisfactory, will you please sign the document, have your signature witnessed, and return papers. In view of the fact that we have been given permission to negotiate sale to the Consolidated Company of our franchise and pole line, and as the situation with respect to the electricity feature is, therefore, still open, it is considered advisable to extend contract Audit No. 2850-A in its entirety, with the thought that arrangement respecting furnishing electricity can be terminated upon sixty days notice if, in the meantime, it is found the situation warrants it. Yours very truly,
