Reinhardt: A t an ad{oumed meeting of the District held yesterday afternoon, M onday, M ay 17 the matter of taking over the general o ffice , cle rical and other personnel of the Las Vegas Land and W ater Company was the subject of considerable discussion. It is the concensus o f the directors that the District desires to take over as many of the employees of the water company In a ll categories and classifications as you are In position to and disposed to release for this purpose. To date no definite arangements to this end have been undertaken by the District directly w ith any o f your personnel, because it is our feeling that the matter should first be taken up w ith you In this manner. A ny announcement that you may see fit to make to the water company personnel in this connection wi 11 be perfectly satis­factory to the D istrict. How ever, if you would prefer the District to make direct contact w ith your employees we shall be glad to do so upon receipt of advice and permission from you to that end.
