Indenture, certificate, note, contract or other instrument authorised or approved by the Board of Directors or the Executive Committee, and to cause tier corporate seal to be thereto affixed and attested by the Secretary or an Assistant Secretary.* Having been elected Executive Vice President of Union Pacific Railroad Company and of the other Companies named above, effective April 1, 1957# at nestings of Boards of Directors of such Companies held Kerch 28, 1957# you are empowered under the above quoted provisions# and in addition thereto are hereby authorised, to execute documents of the same general character which, according to the by-laws or resolutions of the Board or Executive Committee, are authorised fo r execution by me or such o ffic e r as t may designate.
