1 NOTICE OF CALL FOR PROPOSALS CLARK COUNTY COMMISSION NOTICE OF CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR AGREEMENT FOR CON- STRUCTION, INSTALLATION, MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE OF GENERAL ADVERTISING AT McCARRAN FIELD, LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY. NEVADA._______________________________ Sealed proposals for an agreement with the Clark County Commission, a public corporation, for construction, installation, maintenance, and service of general advertising at Me Carran Field, Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, such agreement sometimes referred to as a General Advertising Contract, will be received by the Commission at the office thereof located at the County Court House, Las Vegas, Nevada, until the hour of 10:00 o'clock a.m. on the 20th day of April, 1963, and will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately there- after. Proposals must be based upon and must meet the requirements in all re- spects of the specifications on file in the office of the Clark County Purchas- ing Agent. Each proposal must be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check made payable to the Clark County Commission in the principal sum of $5,000.00, or by a surety bond in the same amount running to the Commission, with the surety company thereon duly authorized to do business in the State of Nevada, as a bid guarantee that the bidder, if successful, will enter into a lease agreement with the Clark County Commission pursuant to his bid proposal, the amount of the check to be retained or the bond enforced by the Commission as liquidated damages in case he fails so to do. Bid guarantees will be retained until the contract has been executed, but in no event longer than 30 days from and after said opening of said bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 30 days after the date for the opening of bids. The bid proposal will be accepted on or before the expiration of 30 days after the date of opening of bids, the Commission, however, reserving the right to reject any and all bids and to re-advertise for bids. Specifications for the general advertising contract are on file for inspection at the office of the Clark County Purchasing Agent, Las Vegas, Nevada. Bidders desiring a copy thereof for personal use may secure the same from the Purchasing Agent upon deposit of $10.00 for each set of the specifications. This deposit shall be returned upon the return of the specifications in good condition within 10 days after the date of the opening of bids. Dated at Las Vegas, Nevada, the 20th day of March, 1963.
