Commissioner Sharp moved that Wells Cargo Inc. be paid $2,450.00 for the improvement of the Mac Donald Hotel Parking Lot. Motion seconded by Commissioner Shippie and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. Commissioner Bunker moved that all City employees receive a one schedule in­crease as of February 1, 1956. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. City Manager Kennedy presented two proposals for the audit of City Ac counts, one from Bunker and Jones and the other from Canway, Moe, Hibbs and Funston. Commissioner Sharp moved the contract be awarded to Bunker and Jones. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. Commissioner Bunker advised the Commission that Wayne Bunker is his cousin. The City Manger advised the Commission there had been two offers to move the Wildcat Lair. One from the Junior Chamber of Commerce who will dis­mantle the building and store it in the County; the other from Father Fisher to move it to North Las Vegas to be used for Church recreational fac­ilities. Commissioner Whipple moved the proposal of the Junior Chamber of Commerce be accepted providing they can remove the building within 60 days and sub­ject to their Meeting all legal requirements as approved by the City at - torney. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. Commissioner Whipple moved the application of R.C. Moulton for a detective agency license be denied on the basis of the report of the Police Depart­ment. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. Commissioner Whipple, member of the committee for recommendation on the proposed amendment to the liquor ordinance requested additional time be­fore reporting. Commissioner Sharp, member of the committee for recommendation on the proposed Plumbing Code ordinance requested additional time before report­ing. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE REMOVAL OF MEMBERS OF APPOINTIVE BOARDS IN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS FOR NEGLECT OF DUTY; DEFIN­ING NEGLECT OF DUTY; PROVIDING FOR THE RECORDING OF MINUTES OF BOARD AC­TIONS; PROVIDING FOR FILLING OF VACANCIES; AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RE­LATED THERETO, having been reported on favorably by Commissioners Sharp and Whipple was read in full to the Board. Commissioner Sharp moved the above entitled ordinance No. 681 be adopted. Option seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. Commissioner Bunker, member of the committee for recommendation on the pro­posed ordinance concerning Collection Agencies reported unfavorably at this time. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO, AND MAKING A PART OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED TERRITORY ADJOINING AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS; DECLARING SAID TERRITORY AND INHABITANTS TO BE ANNEXED THERETO AND SUBJECT TO ALL LAWS AND ORDINANCES; ORDERING A PLAT SHOWING SAID TERRITORY TO BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER, COUNTY OF CLARK, STATE OF NEVADA; AND PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO, having been reported on favorably by Commissioner Whipple was read in full to the Board. Commissioner Whipple moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 682 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Sharp, Bunker, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 24, SECTION 26, CODE OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, 1949, AS AMENDED, CHANGING THE MINIMUM BUILDING LINE SETBACKS AND STREET WIDTH LINES, ON PORTIONS OF MAIN STREET AND BONANZA ROAD; PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH, having been re­ported on favorably by Commissioner Bunker was read in full to the Board.
