Commissioner Sharp moved that Wells Cargo Inc. be paid $2,450.00 for the improvement of the Mac Donald Hotel Parking Lot. Motion seconded by Commissioner Shippie and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. Commissioner Bunker moved that all City employees receive a one schedule increase as of February 1, 1956. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. City Manager Kennedy presented two proposals for the audit of City Ac counts, one from Bunker and Jones and the other from Canway, Moe, Hibbs and Funston. Commissioner Sharp moved the contract be awarded to Bunker and Jones. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. Commissioner Bunker advised the Commission that Wayne Bunker is his cousin. The City Manger advised the Commission there had been two offers to move the Wildcat Lair. One from the Junior Chamber of Commerce who will dismantle the building and store it in the County; the other from Father Fisher to move it to North Las Vegas to be used for Church recreational facilities. Commissioner Whipple moved the proposal of the Junior Chamber of Commerce be accepted providing they can remove the building within 60 days and subject to their Meeting all legal requirements as approved by the City at - torney. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. Commissioner Whipple moved the application of R.C. Moulton for a detective agency license be denied on the basis of the report of the Police Department. Commissioner Whipple, member of the committee for recommendation on the proposed amendment to the liquor ordinance requested additional time before reporting.
