We now have apparently g o o d flow f r o m reservoir and open spring In creek as far as M a i n Street bridge, b u t f r o m there to delivery w e i r distance of possible 1 0 0 0 ft. w a t e r flows thru dense b e d of tuilleries, p e r c o l a t i n g into ground and none reaches p o i n t r e q u i r e d in contract. Impossible c l e a n this ditch by h a n d labor, and in order avoid suit threatened b y Stewart heirs we should immediately secure services of dragline n o w in Las Vegas Y a r d and open this d i t c h f r o m M a i n Street bridge to w e i r at dam.
